IT'S OFFICIAL ...

Michelle had an ultrasound appointment at 2:45 p.m. today. Edwin & I are waiting for the cell
phone to ring. Finally around 3:15 p.m., the phone rings. I am on the phone with Michelle while Brandon is on the cell phone with his mom. The kids count down in unison, "5 ... 4.... 3.... 2.....1 .... IT'S A BOY". We finally hear the exciting news we have been waiting for. Woowoo ... we're going to have a grandson!!!! Now I can concentrate on boy clothes and goodies. Of course this means I will have to get rid of the lavendar daisy shoes, black little shoes, lavendar bib, and pink Disney hat that I already bought (hahaha ... OOC). ok ... back in the box until I can use them.

Laura & Sharon go to CHA

Laura & I went to Anaheim to attend the 2008 CHA (Craft & Hobby Association) Convention. Our first stop ... BABIES R US!!!!!! Though we still don't know the sex of the baby, we had a great time browsing through the WHOLE store (I think we spent over two hours there). We looked at little girls clothes, little boy clothes, unisex clothes, and all the accessories you could possibly want. We tried not to buy anything but I found something the baby could not do without ... A reindeer snowsuit to wear to keep warm while going out Christmas shopping. So cute. I told Laura if the baby was a girl, I would just add red & white ribbons and a red tu-tu on it. We had so much fun "window shopping" for baby goodies.

While attending CHA, Laura & I made baby bibs (the booth was making either bibs or onesies). I made the purple one and Laura made the green one. They were fun to make although they weren't exactly "beautiful". We had fun and laughed the whole time. I also made a "Winnie the Pooh" box in case the baby wants to store some memories in there.

We ran into Donna Dewberry and let her know that we would NOT be attending her convention this July as "we were going to be grandmas" around that time. We knew that she would understand and we told her we would see her next year.

Last but not least, we made "CRAFTY GRANDMA" t-shirts for both Laura & me. WE HAD A GREAT TIME (we always do).

Oh yeah .. I think we set a record for how many different Curry Houses you can eat at in six days (we ate at three of them). Yummmmm.
