First trip to Disneyland with "baby" on our minds

Edwin had to attend an Electric Vehicle Convention down in Anaheim so I was able to buy a cheap ticket and "tag along". While he attended the convention, I was free to go out and look for things for the baby (actually did more looking than shopping this trip). Despite the fact that I wanted to buy the baby ears at Disneyland, I'll have to wait to find out if I'm getting Mickey ears or Minnie ears. After careful thought I finally settled for this little Christmas goodie for the baby (it's just a little hat, blankie, and slippers). There are so many things you can buy for a baby ... it's amazing.

Baby's First Halloween Costume(s)

I'm out shopping with Jen when I come across these adorable Halloween costumes ... so, tadaaaa ... the baby has a Halloween costume for next year. I tell Jen that someone will be able to use these costumes one of these days, and if not they were so cheap that it's okay. Jen just ignores me because I bought something for the baby about four years ago (I bought both a girl one and a boy one, not knowing what the baby would be) so this was no big deal. The bears have been added just so you can see what the costumes look like with someone in them. I just had to buy them. I can't wait to see the baby as "baby corn" or "baby peas in a pod".

Keeping a Secret ...

Since we can't tell anyone about the baby yet, Laura & I talk everyday (online or on the phone) about how excited we are and what we are going to do when the baby gets here. Woowoo ... we no longer have to take pictures of "random" children at Disneyland or Sea World. We can actually take pictures of a child we know!!!!!! I can hardly contain myself. I actually had to take Sandi to the airport about four days after I found out ... you cannot image how hard it was for me not to yell out ... "I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDMA". I was able to contain my excitement for the 45-minute ride to the airport. Whew. This is going to be hard ... hopefully we won't have to hold our happiness in much longer, I'm about ready to burst.
